From the Headmaster’s Desk
It is my greatest pleasure and joy that I am a part of this glorious institution. The chief aim of education is to help the growing soul to draw out that in itself which is best and make it perfect for noble use. The concept of education is to study human mind, infant, adolescent and adult. The system which ignores the instrument of study is likely to impair intellectual growth than to produce a perfectly equipped mind. So the vision of this erudite institution is creation of an environment with a view to inculcating a value based mind set ready to grab opportunities offered for empowerment and development of personality of the students pursuing their studies here.
If we look back to the academic performance or the overall growth of this institution, it can be comprehended that it’s still carrying the flag of the premiership. And when we look ahead, we incorporate all that is our due to the society and to the environment at large. Therefore, keeping in sync with the, ”Clean India” drive we dedicated our 2017-2018 `Lokmanyite` to highlight the importance of hygiene sanitation and cleanliness.
We at Lokmanya Tilak High School engage our students in such a way that they learn and understand the aim of education by proper blend of traditional and modern technology. The relationship between staff, parents, ex-students and the community is vital in support of the African Proverb `It takes a village to raise a child`. I thank all role players for their dedication and support throughout this term in the development of our students. The pure weight of activities and events taking place at Lokmanya Tilak High School, makes it impossible to reflect on them all. I do, however, need to creation the accolade that makes me proud, the continuous positive comments and compliments of our students from members of the public reflects our commitment to the value of our motto-producing human beings of character.
